Araceli Martinez holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Sam Houston State University. She started her career at a local Houston real estate accounting firm and advanced into a tax preparer and audit assistant. She later gained her experience as a financial analyst.

Araceli joined Maple Development in 2021 as an Accountant to help structure and build a strong accounting department; she now serves as the Financial Controller and also oversees Human Resources. She takes pride in collaborating with departments daily to establish workflow efficiencies. In addition to her leadership roles, she focuses on working with her team to build a strong foundation on month-end closing, tax compliance, financial strategy, internal controls, and external reporting. Aside from being passionate in her positions, she enjoys spending her days off with her dogs and being a coffee enthusiast.
